Australian
Red Cross – International Tracing Service
International
tracing and message service is a service to reunite relatives across
countries when separation was due to war or disaster. Cases may also
be taken when the separation involves some migration issues or health
issues. Red Cross capacity to undertake the particular search depends
on the service guidelines (across countries, separation by
war/disaster/some migration or health issues, the availability of a
last known address and the particular present situation with the
country where the search will be taken place). Also assist particular
groups with income support such as the elderly, in situations related
to medical expenses. All applicants are subject to a financial
assessment process. Some emergency relief is available such as
telephone vouchers and food cards and priority is given to refugee
claimants. Address: State Office, Humanity Place, 49 Park Rd, Milton
